San Diego Attorney Alexis Gutierrez<\/a> has obtained de-certification of a 120,000+ member, multi-million dollar, certified class action brought against Sharp HealthCare. After 5-1\/2 years, Alexis defeated a previously certified class action lawsuit brought against Sharp Healthcare for alleged violations of California’s Unfair Competition law and the Consumer Legal Remedy Act (CLRA). The case is captioned Hale, et al. v. Sharp Healthcare<\/em>. (This case, and a companion class action suit, Durrell, et al. v. Sharp Healthcare<\/em>, previously resulted in reported decisions.)<\/p>\n

Sharp HealthCare is a not-for-profit integrated regional health care delivery system based in San Diego, Calif. Sharp includes four acute-care hospitals, three specialty hospitals and two affiliated medical groups, plus a full spectrum of other facilities and services.
