SAN DIEGO \u2013 January 31, 2018 \u2013 Higgs Fletcher & Mack, a San Diego-based, full-service law firm for almost 85 years, announced it once again been named to the \u201cBest Law Firms\u201d 2018 list by U.S. News – Best Lawyers\u00ae.  The firm achieved Tier 1 rankings for its metropolitan area in eight practice areas.<\/p>\n

The Tier 1 rankings were in the Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law, Legal Malpractice Law – Defendants, Litigation – Tax, Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants, Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants practice areas. Additionally, Higgs received Tier 2 rankings in six other practice areas covering Arbitration, Family Law, Health Care Law, Immigration, Mediation, and Tax Law.<\/p>\n

The rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking in a particular practice area and metro region, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
