The Department of State&#8217;s Visa Bulletin for January 2015, which shows prospective immigrants the wait time in their respective employment-based or family-based immigrant visa preference category, indicates a significant advancement for China and most other countries in the EB-3 preference category.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Mexico and the Philippines advanced by seven (7) months to June 1, 2013. EB-3 China advanced by nine (9) months to March 1, 2011, while EB-3 India advanced by only two (2) weeks to December 15, 2003.
